Project: Fantasy Chess Sim
As the player enter the game, they would simply need to click by using the mouse to move the character. And the highlighted blocks are the avaliable blocks for the character to move toward.
Control:
movement: mouse-click to select the hex you would like to move to
rotation: using keyboard, A and D to rotate for angle.
Attack: using keyboard, W key to fire a bullet. (note: if you get too close, it might cause damage to the current player also)
Ability: also known as the skills. Use Space bar to activate. Some pieces(classes) might not have any ability, and some of their abilities are not shown directly. Such as increase in harm the next attack. Player needs to find it out themselves.
In this project, player can interact with our character on the map, to move our character around the map. As your health bar zeros out, and lose all your pieces, you would need to restart from the beginning. This is a turn-based game, player is only allow to choose one action to do each turn, either take their movement action, or attack action. Rotation does not count toward the turn action calculation, but as you finish movement/attack, player will end the turn immediately, without the chance to rotate. As player enter the game, you have two playing method to choose from,
PvP: local multiplayer system allow two players to play against each other. The pieces each side has would have a color differece.
There are 5 different classes, they are
priest: can heal itself
mage: Deal huge damage on one shot
warrior: Nothing special, but its attack deal extra damage because it is powerful
knight: Shield wall, take 0 damage for next hit.
archer: Shot 3 arrow at once.
Most ability can be only active once each game and some may end the turn.
PvE: play against the AI,(replacing player2 in the PvP version) AI will chase the player as it gets to AI's turn. AI would have a range of detection, while player enter the detection range, AI will attack the player when gets to its turn.
There is a NeutralAi where randomly moves around the map, it won't attack the player, but would trigger it to run away around the map after the player hits it. This would be involved in both PvP and PvE
